CJCSC underscores the emergence of new, complex healthcare challenges demanding collective response at the SCO seminar

RAWALPINDI, Mar 05 (APP): General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the distinguished Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), delivered a comprehensive discourse shedding light on the emergence of a myriad of new and intricate healthcare challenges. These challenges encompass a broad spectrum, ranging from pandemics to humanitarian crises, demanding urgent attention and collective action.
 
With a keen understanding of the contemporary global landscape, General Mirza emphasized the critical need for collective preparedness and strategic response strategies. He accentuated the paramount importance of fostering robust multilateral collaboration among member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), particularly in the domain of military medicine.
 
General Mirza’s profound insights were shared during the auspicious inaugural session of the SCO Members States Seminar, graciously hosted by Pakistan under the resonant theme of “Challenges in Military Medicines,” as elaborated in an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) communique.
 
In his address, General Mirza reiterated Pakistan’s deep-seated pride in its longstanding partnership with the SCO.
