Healthcare and education are vital for women’s empowerment, affirms President Alvi

President Alvi condemned acts of genocide, particularly those perpetrated by Israeli forces in Gaza. He denounced such atrocities as violations of humanitarian values and driven by vested interests.

National Resilience and COVID-19 Response

President Alvi expressed confidence in Pakistan’s ability to overcome challenges collectively, citing resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. He urged unity to address issues such as poverty, malnutrition, and maternal and neonatal mortality.

Healthcare and Education Advocacy

President Alvi expressed concern over the high number of out-of-school children in Pakistan and advocated for prioritizing healthcare and education. He cited examples like China’s success in poverty reduction through such investments.

Women’s Participation in Governance

President Alvi commended women and youth for their participation in the electoral process, particularly during general elections.

First Lady Samina Alvi praised the organizers for recognizing and encouraging women’s contributions across various domains. She encouraged women to seize opportunities, including access to easy loans for entrepreneurial endeavors.
